How To Use Peak Design Everyday Backpack Harness
Introduction
The Peak Design Everyday Backpack has built in harness straps that allow you to carry additional gear and accessories via the exterior of your bag, as well as the dual side pockets for more secure carrying. Both the version 1 and version 2 Everyday Backpack include 4 external carrying straps. Two in the hidden bottom pocket and one on each side of the side pockets. There are various hook points located on the backpack to allow the carrying straps to hook onto, via Peak Design’s cord hook’s system.
Bottom Side
The bottom of the Peak Design Everyday Backpack has two hook points for the two carrying straps that come out of the hidden bottom pocket. You can easily attach items like a yoga mat, tripod and any other longer circular objects.
Main Body
The main body of the backpack has two hook points near the level of the maglatch on the backpack. Utilizing these can create a cross strapping on an object against the backpack like a drone for example.
Side Pocket
Each side pocket has a carrying strap hidden inside and there is a hook strap located at the top corners of either side. The side carrying strap provides extra security to items that may not be securely stored by the strength of the rubber band inside the side pocket. By having a carrying strap being hooked onto the side hook, it increases the security and pressure at the top of your carrying object.Example: gorilla pod pictured below.
Conclusion
Hopefully this gives you some visualization and is able to help you organize your carrying setup for your equipment, accessories and other miscellaneous objects into the Peak Design Everyday Backpack.
