From there, Emily worked tirelessly on numerous indie and student narrative productions all while starting her own commercial production company with several partners during high school that allowed her to build the relationships she has today with rental houses and post production facilities around the city.

Upon graduating high school, Emily joined IATSE 667 as a camera trainee at the age of 18, where she gained invaluable knowledge and experience working alongside world class cinematographers such as, Marcell Rev, ASC HSC, Christopher Norr, ASC, DJ Stipzen, NZCS and several others on union productions in Toronto, Canada. This invaluable experience provided Emily the confidence to shoot her first feature film with Paul Persic and series with Frances-Anne Solomon at the age of 20.
